January 8th
Ø Making edible treats for the birds and decorating birdhouses for our Central Oregon flying friends.
Ø 2010 Goals Poster Project-students will make a poster of things they would like to do in the new year

Ø Cascade Swim Center – 55 minutes of water play

Ø Movie and popcorn – We will be watching the movie “Up”. Wear something comfy and bring your pillow!
January 29th
Ø Bread making – students will be making their own individual loaves to take home with them.

Ø Outdoor walk (weather pending)
February 5th
Ø High Desert Museum – all day outing includes science project, lunch and tour of the museum. Transportation will be provided by Redmond School District.
February 12th
Ø Cascade Swim Center – 55 minutes of water play

February 26th
Ø Basketball fun in the High School Gym
Ø Lunch
Ø Scrapbooking – bring several pictures from home of favorite times or activities to make scrapbooking pages to take home.
March 5th
Ø Walk down the Dry Canyon Path (weather pending)

Ø Making an herb garden – we will combine fresh herbs into pots for students to bring home and giving instruction on how they can be used in some of their favorite foods.
March 12th

Ø Spring Art Project – students will have lots of great creative supplies to make artwork of what spring means to them
March 19th
Ø Diane’s Riding Place – All day excursion to Diane’s Riding Place in Tumalo. The students will learn about farm animals, meet the ponies, get an opportunity to ride a gentle horse or pony, eat lunch and complete a craft project.
